Types of Survey
- A Residential Valuation report includes the general description of the property, together with its main advantages and disadvantages. This report is suitable for matrimonial, probate or insurance purposes and should not be considered as a survey.
- A Home Buyers Report is more comprehensive and covers the general condition of the property. Our survey will advise which matters need urgent attention as this could affect the present value and future saleability of the property. This survey will assist the potential buyer to decide whether the property is suitable to purchase and confirm whether the property is reasonably priced. It also clearly states what actions need to be taken before the buyer commits himself to the purchase.
- A Building Survey is more detailed and covers a wider range of properties. This report will include specific advice, including maintenance of the property. The length of this technical report will depend on the type of property and its condition.
